- Serving as industry expert to help inform the positioning of the Company’s products and services.
- Assisting internal staff with commercial and technical documentation that draws on appropriate industry vocabulary.
- Facilitating relationships with existing and prospective clients in the electrical utility industry.
- Serving as an ambassador for the company at industry trade events.
- Attending meetings as required across North America to further the Company’s interests
- Contributing to the total effectiveness of the commercial team, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member.
- Strong experience working in the power industry as a linesman, technician, engineer or related profession.
- Strong communication skills and command of both spoken and written English.
- Minimum three years’ experience.
- Ability to demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- An attention to detail.
- Commercial and technical acumen.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines.
- The ability to create strong proposal documents.
- Computer literate.
- Experience working with technical solutions in a business context.
- Knowledge of powerline engineering.
- A technical degree is desirable in subjects related to engineering, computer science, earth sciences, remote sensing or maths.
- Technical credentials and training related to a power industry specialism.
