As the UK’s electricity transmission network evolves to accommodate increasing demand and the transition to a lower-carbon energy system, accurate survey information plays a critical role in project delivery. High-quality geospatial and engineering data provides designers with a reliable representation of terrain, existing infrastructure, and clearance requirements, helping to inform route development, optimise alignments, and support compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
NM Group’s scope includes the delivery of engineering-ready survey outputs, including PLS-CADD models and supporting datasets that enable efficient design and assessment workflows. The ability to deliver accurate data within demanding programme timescales is essential for large-scale transmission projects, where survey information forms the foundation for subsequent engineering activities.
