Virtual PLS-CADD European Seminar - Design of Transmission and Distribution Lines in PLS-CADD

Online training in PLS-CADD

This is a ten-day virtual course that is run live by an instructor. Attendees will participate using an online platform that provides access to the key software in PLS-CADD but from the comfort of their home or office.

The course will teach attendees how to use the design programs for transmission and distribution projects produced by Power Line Systems (PLS). It will deliver the required understanding to create efficient, optimal designs. Modules include criteria development, structure design, conductor sagging and plan and profile drawings. By running the course over 10 days, we can keep the training to the morning enabling you to continue with your normal work duties in the afternoon. This provides the best balance of learning, allowing plenty of time for attendees to ask questions and ensures the course isn't overwhelming or feels rushed.

Who Should Attend?

The course is intended for powerline engineers and technicians. Attendees should have a basic understanding of overhead line design concepts already. The class focuses on the use of the software and not on the fundamentals of line design.
