Aerial LiDAR used to model 750 km of transmission network in the UK for confirming line ratings
We are very pleased to have been awarded a 750 km powerline modelling and analysis project by a long term UK transmission client. Using our intelligent data processing workflow, we will produce an accurate 3D model of the various circuits enabling a number of key analyses to be undertaken.
Determining precise clearance distances at rated temperature we will help our client ensure they are complaint to current safety regulations. The proejct will also detect vegetation within the network that needs to be managed to reduce the risk of reliability issues.
