Line ratings project for Midwestern utility awarded to NM Group
We are very pleased to have recently been awarded further work with a longstanding client. The project was to acquire data on circa 300 miles of transmission powerline in the Midwest.
We will be providing aerial LiDAR, oblique angled and downward-looking imagery and developing a highly accurate import file for onwards modelling in PLS-CADD. As part of this process, we will also need to record meteorological datasets to combine with the LiDAR measurements in order to virtually sag the lines.
