NM Group to undertake powerline engineering project in Midwest
We are very pleased to have been awarded a substantial thermal rating and inspection project for a Midwest power network. The work will require accurate aerial LiDAR data of almost 800 miles of our client’s transmission network. These circuits are located within the states of Missouri and Illinois. The objective being to confirm thermal ratings of the lines and for ongoing compliance requirements.
Thorough classification of the topography and existing infrastructure will be used to calculate the line ratings. In addition, orthorectified images of the network will be provided and delivered within PLS-CADD format.
