215-mile transmission line survey part of strategic partnership to establish accurate asset records
As part of an existing framework, NM Group are embarking on a new project for Spring 2018 to aerially acquire data for 200 miles of 138 kV and 230 kV transmission lines. The project will capture LiDAR data and high resolution imagery, including detailed images of each structure.
The data will pass through our in-house workflow to provide the client with classified LiDAR points and PLS-CADD™ models. Building up an asset inventory, the structure images will include line reference, structure numbers and real-world position. The completed project will allow the client to validate line ratings, ensure regulatory compliance and support system safety and reliability.
