NM Group project to deliver new up-rating for UK DNO
We are pleased working with an existing UK distribution client on a further engineering project to increase transfer capacity. Through the collection of LiDAR and imagery we will complete a detailed PLS-CADD modelling project; providing the basis for the engineering study.
The model will establish conductor clearances to ground, buildings and vegetation, and confirm the as-built thermal rating for the line. Constraints that exist at higher temperatures can then also be identified, allowing our engineers to recommend options for transferring more power through the circuit.
