Transmission engineering project for electricity cooperative in Florida
We are proud to be delivering an airborne LiDAR engineering project, of a transmission line for a Florida based utility. High accuracy LiDAR data will enable the line to modelled within a 3D PLS-CADD environment.
In addition to high-resolution imagery and close up structure images, we will be acquiring data on the meteorological conditions during the project.
Along with the load on the line at time of survey, this will be used to model the conductor temperature. Accurate modelling enables the cooperative to confirm their thermal ratings. Calculating conductor clearances at max operating temperature and verifying their regulatory compliance.
