NM Group project supports system reliability for remote Australian network
Supporting a rural network operator we will help our client to upgrade key sections of their overhead transmission line. The project scope will consist of 230 km of powerline, and will obtain LiDAR data and high resolution imagery.
The survey data will be combined with meteorological data and the electrical load from time of survey to enable accurate modeling of the line and confirm thermal ratings. This will help our client ensure reliability on the network as well as identify any up-rating opportunities.
